Our Favourite Instagram Accounts for Wedding Inspiration

In the age of social media, it’s no surprise that a lot of our inspiration comes from Instagram and Pinterest. These are two of our favourite apps and we always recommend them when you’re stuck for that bit of creative insight. It’s no different when it comes to certain occasions and events either - there’s always something to discover. So, without further ado, here are our favourite Instagram accounts to inspire your wedding planning! After all, weddings are what we do best here at Project Pretty. Grab a brew, sit back and have a scroll.

Ruffled (@RuffledBlog)

This account is from ruffledblog.com - an entire blog dedicated to all things wedding-related! It’s not only aesthetically pleasing but it is also really helpful if you’ve got that special day coming up. There’s plenty of bride and groom snaps, table settings and wedding accessories to flick through. Our favourite part though? You can get your own pics featured by using the #ruffledblog hashtag! We could scroll through this one forever - they’ve got nearly 4,000 posts as we type this.

Trendy Bride (@trendybridgemagazine)

Self-proclaimed ‘fine art magazine and blog’, this Insta encompasses everything we love about weddings. There’s plenty of romantic shots to get you excited for your big day. However, there’s also an abundance of clever ideas to make your wedding extra special - jewellery & shoe combinations, cake decorations and fancy details to bring the venue to life. The account speaks for itself with its 100k following but our favourite thing about Trendy Bride is the light and airy theme it encompasses. There’s nothing dull or dark about this Insta!

Bride & Tonic (@brideandtonic)

London-based wedding bloggers Bride and Tonic are the ultimate creatives for giving you serious matrimonial envy. Their Insta is jam-packed with gorgeous couple shots and a slick, dark colour scheme. We particularly love the dresses they showcase - this account will certainly make you want to get your girls and go dress shopping! Bride and Tonic is also great for flower inspiration if you need a little help with what bunch to go for. It’s nice to know that they care about sustainability and simplicity so their feed is perfect for those looking for a simple, ‘homespun’ wedding.

Hues of Vintage (@huesofvintage)

Doubling up as a blog and dress shop, Hues of Vintage is the one-stop-shop for a bride who loves everything vintage! They’ve got a gorgeous collection of dresses and their Instagram feed is the perfect place to start. Feast your eyes on the pretty sketches and wedding photoshoots for all the bridal attire inspiration you could ever need. However, the account mostly focuses on dresses and the occasional floral post so you may have to look elsewhere if you need to get ideas for other parts of your big day.

And last but not least... our Instagram, of course! (@ProjectPretty1)

This is the only place you’ll ever need to go for all your stationery needs. We like to keep in line with our name and make sure our Instagram posts are always looking pretty… Have a scroll through our account and we’re sure you’ll stumble across something that makes you tick! We’ve got it all: wedding invitations, place cards, menu cards and seating plans. Give us a follow to brighten up your feed.
